Several handsets from HTC’s 2009 line-up have appeared on the Web right at the beginning of the year, but back then there were no details on their specs.
Now we have more info about said handsets, including their possible release dates.
Let’s begin with HTC Firestone, which is said to be the successor of HTC Touch HD.
The Firestone should come with Windows Mobile 6.5 onboard and, apparently, it will be HTC’s first device to have an 8MP camera.

Its other rumored features include:
It’s said that HTC Firestone will be announced in August 2009.
Next we have the HTC Whitestone, a handset that should be outed by Verizon Wireless in September 2009.

Its features are said to include:
HTC Thoth is another Windows Mobile 6.5 device, and it should come in September 2009 as the successor of HTC Athena.

The Thoth is rumored to feature:
Next on the list is HTC Tungsten, which should hit T-Mobile later this year. It’s basically a T-Mo version of HTC Touch Pro2.

HTC Twin is a handset bounded for China Mobile (July 2009 is the month when it should be launched). It comes with GSM and CDMA connectivity, a VGA display and a 3.2MP camera.

HTC Maple and HTC Cedar are two smartphones that come with 2.4 inch QVGA portrait displays and Windows Mobile 6.1 Standard. Other identical specs include: 128MB RAM, 256MB ROM and a 528MHz Qualcomm 7225 processor.

Apparently, the Maple is a GSM device, while Cedar is a CDMA one that could be prepared by Verizon for a June 2009 release (although it’s said it “may have been cancelled”).
Keep in mind that all the info from above does not come from official sources, thus we’d better wait for HTC to announce these devices until we can be sure about their specs and release dates.
