What happens when you marry an iPhone with a Nokia N95? Well, you’ll probably end up with something that looks a lot like the NokiPhone N3000i, which is an obvious attempt to clone the two and put them together. If you were wondering what this $129 phone offers, you’ll need to go through its specification sheet, which shows:
3.2-inch QVGA display
Wi-Fi
Bluetooth 2.0
Dual-SIM support
microSD card expansion
Video recording (something the iPhone doesn’t have just yet)

You may know Emgeton for its digital music players, but the Czech-based company also makes mobile phones.
Its newest handset is Emgeton Enzo, a 3G candybar that kind of looks like Sony Ericsson’s C902.
Unlike the SE phone, the Enzo doesn’t come with an advanced photo camera.
Instead, it has a Qualcomm / Philips chipset that allows you to use two SIM cards “simultaneously and completely independently of each other”.
Here are most of the features and specs the Emgeton Enzo offers:

Emgeton Enzo should be available starting April (in the Czech Republic, at least), retailing at 7,990 CZK (300 Euros or $388).

Want to go to the Burj Al Arab, but can’t afford to do so? Well, you could always pick up the dual-SIM SBMP-N90, which seems to take its design concept from the Burj Al Arab. It even comes with its own docking stand, which is pretty cool. The bad news is that the phone lacks 3G or EDGE, and is only equipped with a 1.3 megapixel camera. Of course, not everybody will think of the Burj Al Arab when they first see the phone, but you can always try to convince them that it’s related to said structure.

Dutch sports car maker Spyker certainly wants in on the lucrative cell phone business and will be releasing at least 4 new handsets this year. There is the EG200 which has a touch-sensitive navigation pad, tri-band GSM connectivity, 3-megapixel camera, Bluetooth with A2DP support. Two other devices will be similar with features such as dual-SIM capability, tri-band GSM/GPRS, Bluetooth and a 2-megapixel camera, though one of them will have an aluminum casing. The most interesting of the phones will have a titanium body and features such as:
Quad band GSM connectivity
UMTS/HSDPA/ HSUPA connectivity
Bluetooth with A2DP
Wi-Fi support
3 megapixel camera
1.3 megapixel front-facing camera for video calls
microSD memory card slot

Spyker’s foray into the mobile industry seems to be more than just a seasonal business, as the Dutch sports car maker is getting ready to release no less than four new phones during 2009.
We briefly saw two of them, at the beginning of February, but now we’ve got more details, as well as better pictures.
Unfortunately, the Spyker phone that offers the nicest set of features doesn’t have a name yet.
However, we know that it’s a slim candybar built from titanium and coming with a crystal glass display.
Here’s what it looks like:

Its specs include:
Next we have a phone that’s apparently called Spyker EG200. It brings a touchscreen display and a touch-sensitive navigation pad, plus features like tri-band GSM connectivity, a 3MP camera and Bluetooth with A2DP.

Lastly, we have two Spyker sliders that look about the same. The difference is that one of them has an aluminum case. Other than that, they both feature dual-SIM capabilities, tri-band GSM/GPRS connectivity, Bluetooth and 2MP cameras.

Release dates and pricing details are still unknown.

MWC 2009 is not only about Nokia, Samsung, LG, Sony Ericsson or HTC.
There’s also Acer, for example, the Taiwanese computer maker which has just unveiled four of its new smartphones: Acer M900, Acer F900, Acer X960, and Acer DX900. All of them run on Windows Mobile 6.1 and are part of Acer’s Tempo series of handsets.
The real novelties here are the M900 and F900, since we’ve already seen the X960 and the DX900.
Let’s start off with Acer Tempo M900, which seems to be the company’s flagship model.
Built “for all your communications on the go”, the M900 has a full sliding QWERTY keyboard, a large touchscreen display and several other nice features.

The smartphone’s full list of specs includes:
Next on the list is Acer Tempo F900. The F900 doesn’t have a keyboard at all, thus it’s slimmer than the M900 (117.5 x 63.5 x 12.85 mm).
The features of Acer F900 are similar to the ones of M900, save for the fact that it has a 3MP camera instead of a 5MP one.
Acer Tempo X960 (previously spotted in some leaked live images) also comes with quad band GSM and tri-band HSDPA connectivity.

However, its display is only a 2.8 inch VGA (640 x 480) one. Other than that, the handset has a 3.2MP camera, GPS and Wi-Fi.
And finally, Acer Tempo DX900 is that re-branded Glofiish DX900 we saw not long ago.
Its main attraction is the dual-SIM capability: SIM 1 works on quad-band GSM and tri-band HSDPA frequencies, while SIM 2 is for the 900/1800/1900 MHz GSM bands only. Plus, the handset also has a VGA touchscreen display, GPS, Wi-Fi and a 3.2 MP camera.
Acer didn’t say when its new smartphones will be on sale, but this should probably happen starting the next few months.

It seems that Samsung is getting seriously ready for a Valentine’s day in Russia. We already told you about a beautiful Samsung F480 La Fleur Touch edition. But it’s not the only one.
Samsung has dressed up it’s dual SIM version of F480 – D980 – in La Fleur colors too. And aptly named it Samsung D980 La Fleur Touch.
Both Samsung F480 and D980 La Fleur Touch editions come equipped something called “Mobile Coupon”, which claims to be a mobile version of plastic discount cards you can get at various retailers.

Samsung has partnered with a number of shops, cafes, cinemas, beauty parlors, fitness clubs and other places you’d want to get discount from. All you have to do – is send an SMS to Samsung requesting a mobile coupon. You’ll get a link to download a small Java app through which you’ll be able to view all the discount offers and download the mobile coupons you want. Then you just flash this coupon on a phone screen when buying something and you get a discount.
Sounds interesting. But there’s some bad news. Mobile Coupons are only available on a limited number of La Fleur Collection phones, which includes Samsung F480, D980 Touch and older L310, L320 and F250. And, what’s worse – all of these goodies are only available in Russia for now.
Well, let’s see if it works over there. Then, maybe, Samsung can bring mobile coupons to the rest of the world too.

Acer is still probably keeping most of it’s newly developed “…exciting range of easy to use devices Smart Handheld devices…” under wraps, in the hope that nothing will leak and ruin the surprise on Feb 16th.
But some things are starting to leak out already, even if it’s only E-Ten Glofiish handsets, only with some color tweaks and under the Acer brand.
Yep, Mobile Tech Addicts found the old good E-Ten Glofiish DX900 rebranded as Acer DX900 smartphone already available for pre-order on UK retailer’s Clove Technology site.

All other things remain unchanged in Acer DX900, including dual SIM capability, 2.8” VGA touchscreen, GPS, Wi-Fi, 3 mpx camera and Windows Mobile 6.1 OS.
This move by Acer, who acquired E-Ten last year, is pretty easy to understand. Contrary to the Acer brand, E-Ten and Glofiish brands are virtually unknown in most parts of the world. So just slapping a new Acer label on it and putting DX900 into Acer’s distribution channels might spur some sales of this pretty well specc’ed out smartphone.
Let’s just hope that this is not the device that Acer is planning to awe us with on Feb. 16th in Barcelona.

MWC 2009 will debut in less than two weeks, and it looks like Samsung is getting ready to be the show’s main attraction.
Apart from planning to unveil the world’s first 12MP camera phone, the South Korean company might also come with at least other eight new handsets, which all appeared today on the Web (in an unofficial way).
First on the list is Samsung S5050 (pictured below), a nice-looking slider packed with mid-end features.

Here’s what the S5050 offers:
Samsung C5212 (shown below) is a dual-SIM phone, like the recently leaked B5702.

Unlike the B5702, which is a slider, the C5212 is a candybar that features:
Samsung S3310 is another candybar that looks quite elegant:

Its specs include:

Samsung E2210 (seen above) is a nice entry-level clamshell that comes with:
Next we have the Samsung E1360, a simple slider:

Its specs include:
Samsung E1210 is also simple, but it’s a candybar:

It comes with:
Last on the list, Samsung E1125 and Samsung E1100 are two low-end candybars.

The E1125 (pictured on the left) and the E1100 (pictured on the right) share the same features, which include:
So, as I said earlier, we’re probably going to see all these new Samsung handsets at MWC 2009. Most of them are not that interesting, but it’s good that Samsung keeps making them – since the world still needs cheap phones.

The latest smartphone said to be launched with Android on board doesn’t come from Samsung, Sony Ericsson, HTC, Motorola or any other major manufacturer, but from General Mobile – a rather unknown company.
The smartphone is called General Mobile DSTL1 Imaginary, and it will apparently be presented at MWC 2009 (16 – 19 February).
GSM Arena says that the DSTL1 runs on Android, although, on General Mobile’s website, Android is not mentioned at all.
Anyway, until the Android part is clarified, let’s see what the new handset has to offer.
Design-wise, the DSTL1 Imaginary kind of reminds me of the way HTC builds its devices – especially if we look at its navigation wheel:

The handset is a dual-SIM one, but, unfortunately, it seems to be lacking 3G connectivity. Other than that, its features and specs are quite impressive, including:

It all looks really nice, but until the DSTL1 is officially released, I wouldn’t put my hopes in it. Remember the Kogan Agora and its “indefinite delay”?
