Nokia fans stateside might be in for a treat, as an unknown dual-sliding CDMA Nokia phone has shown its face in the FCC filing. There isn’t a name on the device yet, but it certainly looks like it could belong in Nokia’s N-series lineup. The phone will sport a 3-megapixel camera, microSD card expansion, 3.5mm headphone jack, EV-DO Rev. A and Bluetooth 2.0. There isn’t any indication of whether the device will be using S40 or S60, so we’ll have to wait and see how that turns out.

Fans of Nokia’s E71 who are on Rogers’ network will welcome the news that the carrier is now offering a white version of said phone. While dummy phones were slowly making their way to the stores, it’s good to know that the real deal is finally here. The white Nokia E71 will be going for $99.99 on a 3-year contract with a minimum $45 Voice and Data plan. If you want something shorter, the 2-year contract means the phone will cost you $374.99; 1-year contract will be $399.99; Month-to-month is $399.99 and $449.99 to buy the phone outright, which certainly doesn’t sound cheap.

There isn’t any official word on this yet, but speculation coming from the Samsung presentation to dealers over in Amsterdam is that the Samsung Omnia HD will be running Windows Mobile 6.5. While it was recently reported (to great disappointment to fans of Windows Mobile) that the device will be running Symbian, pictures of what is supposedly the Samsung Omnia HD running Windows Mobile 6.5 have appeared, so maybe there is hope. Of course, nothing is written in stone just yet, but we’ll keep an eye on this and keep you posted as things develop.

Good news is here for fans of Nokia’s 5800 XpressMusic as the phone is now in stock at Nokia’s retail stores, which will go on sale at 3pm. The price is still $399, which is a tad higher than the original $360 when it was announced, but it’s still a rather fair price, don’t you think? If you took up the pre-order discount around Valentine’s Day, you can expect to receive it fairly soon as it should ship in the next few days, so stay patient.

There certainly is no shortage of Hello Kitty fans throughout the world, and Sony Ericsson must be looking to capitalize on that fan base by introducing the F305 Hello Kitty edition. In case it has already slipped your mind, the F305 is a simple phone that has a slight inclination to gaming. The Hello Kitty edition of the F305 doesn’t differ from the F305 in terms of specifications. The only difference is the phone cover (which has Hello Kitty designs), themes and ringtones. Reports online indicate that the F305 Hello Kitty edition will be on sale before February is out.
