If you previously caught sight of the LG GF900 Crystal back at MWC 2009, you’ll probably have been captivated by its transparent keyboard, which certainly makes the phone have a luxurious and classy look. Folks over in the UK should be able to pick up the device in mid-May, as Carphone Warehouse has confirmed that they will be releasing the device on said date. The GD900 will sport LG’s S-Class Touch UI, 8-megapixel camera, Wi-Fi, HSDPA, TV-out and Dolby Mobile audio technology. On top of that, the display and transparent sliding keypad should support multi-touch input and handwriting recognition.

Recent reports indicated that China Unicom would be getting Apple’s iPhone, and who wouldn’t think so, especially since they boldly put up images of the iPhone. Now it seems that the company’s chairman, Chang Xiaobing, states that negotiations are still ongoing, and they still have a couple of issues left to sort out. 2 of the main problems that they face are the Chinese law banning Wi-Fi use in mobile phones, and Unicom’s stubborn insistence of installing its own software for the iPhone, which supposedly has some non-iTunes media player. There’s no telling how long this debate will go on for. Speculation hints that it may not be until the end of the year till all the nitty gritty details are thrashed out.

We are loving what the rumor mill has been cranking out lately. The latest biggie may give American gadget junkies a reason to make the switch over to T-Mobile in just a couple months.
The HTC Touch Pro2, introduced to us last month at MWC, was shown off by a user at XDA Developers with a T-Mobile Branded ROM. Not sure how this person got their hands on it, but it appears genuine. This phone stacked with all the goodies is rumored for release in May.
We already knew the Pro2 was set for release in America but naturally assumed it would be found on AT&T’s network first, given that it featured some 3G frequencies normally reserved for AT&T. If released on T-Mobile first, it doesn’t necessarily mean AT&T is out of luck, but probably won’t get it for a while.

According to the source, here are some of the features we can expect from the Touch Pro2:
Word also has it that Windows Mobile 6.5 will be on the Touch Pro2.
More details to come as we get them!
