Are you dreaming? Nope. We’ll pinch you if you still don’t believe us; that’s right folks, the Nokia E71x is no longer a fantasy, as it is now officially on AT&T’s website for sale now.
It’s been a long time coming, so we’re happy to hear the news. And the specs of this particular phone were worth the wait, considering it has GPS, WiFi and 3.2 MP camera on a smartphone that costs only $99.99 after mail-in rebate.
The only thing that will take some getting used to is Symbian S60, but it’s hard to turn down such a rich feature package.

Now that the wait is over, are you going to get the E71x? After playing with it on a couple different occasions I have come out quite impressed by the phone. Great features and small phone with an easy-to-use QWERTY.
Let us know what you think in our comments section.

We may not have heard much about BenQ’s handsets lately, but the Taiwanese company has recently showcased a new smartphone which reportedly won the iF Product Design Award 2009.
Called BenQ Royal, the device is a candybar presented by the manufacturer as “a smart phone with powerful functions including a personalized interface and internet live messenger to make both mobility and communication easier”.
BenQ also says the handset incorporates a touch-sensitive area, located “behind the main screen” – on the back cover, apparently – which lets users turn e-book pages or browse photo/music files with ease.
Other than that, we know the Royal has a 3.2 MP camera with autofocus, and that’s about it – no info on its screen resolution, connectivity or other features.
Details about the availability of BenQ Royal were not unveiled.

Next up we have the Philips Xenium X810, which is a touchscreen device, and from the looks of it, the navigation pad is also touch-sensitive. It looks like that BlackBerry Gemini we saw last month will not be officially called BlackBerry 9300, but BlackBerry 8325.
A live picture with the Gemini 8325 has just been spotted over at BGR.
Unfortunately, it’s not the best shot around (quality wise), so we can’t see the new smartphone in all its glory.
Anyway, the 8325 looks like a mix between the (now old) Curve 8300 and the new and sleek Curve 8900.

Besides the obvious presence of a full QWERTY keyboard, the rumored features of BlackBerry Gemini 8325 include:
No details yet on when RIM plans to officially announce this new handset, but let’s hope it won’t happen too late.

There are times that perusing through the FCC Records has its benefits. Dozens of mobile phones get submitted and approved every single week, and most of them never see the light of day on any major US carrier. From time to time, however, some precious gems slip through without much fanfare.
And this one slipped through a while ago, on Jan. 29th. It seems that there already is FCC approved LG Arena KM900 model supporting 3G bands on AT&T.
The FCC approved it as the “KM900QA”. Test Report indicates this phone is operating on AT&T 3G, WCDMA 850/1900.

Does this guarantee AT&T is going to pick it up in the States?
As we know, there’s never any guarantee AT&T will pick up anything until we see it in official press docs or even on the shelves of retail stores. But the point is, if any US carrier is going to pick up the LG Arena it will be AT&T.

The Arena has just officially launched in France, and 1 million units (at least) have already been pre-ordered.
If launched on AT&T it would become the most feature-rich non-smartphone the carrier currently sells, complete with 3″ WVGA screen, 8 GB built-in memory, 5 MP camera, and WiFi; not to mention the S-Class touch UI to boot.
This is all we’ve found so far, but let’s keep hoping this is a good sign of things to come on AT&T. Sound off in the comments — if the Arena does come to the States will you consider buying it?

The Samsung S8300 is known by a couple other names: the Tocco Ultra Edition and the Samsung UltraTOUCH. Either way, it will be coming to Vodafone in the UK on March 19 as the Tocco Ultra Edition.
Originally announced in December 2008, we saw it first debut at MWC and will actually be offered free on Vodafone’s network with a rate plan of 30 GBP.
The Tocco Ultra Edition comes packed with some great features including:

With all the features packed into a device being offered for free, this is certainly a phone worth considering if you need a new one.

We knew the second-generation LG Rumor was coming to Sprint, and all we needed was an official announcement – which obviously came today.
The new phone is called LG Rumor2 and Sprint will sell it for $49.99, after a $50 mail-in rebate and the signing of a new 2-yr contract agreement.
Like the old Rumor, Rumor2 is a Sprint-exclusive device (in the US, at least).
The full QWERTY keyboard featured by Rumor2 has four key rows, thus it’s probably more user-friendly than the keyboard the original phone sports.
Here are the handset’s main specs:

Starting March 15, LG Rumor2 will be available online, in Black Titanium. A second color version, namely Vibrant Blue, will be introduced on March 29.
The Rumor2 will also be on sale via all Sprint retail channels, but only starting April 19.

During a press event recently held by Sony Ericsson in China, the Swedish-Japanese company has unveiled a new phone called Sony Ericsson T707 Elle.
A clear picture of it is not yet available, but we know the T707 is a clamshell; and, since it’s from the T-series, it’s not a Walkman and neither a Cyber-shot handset.
So what we have here is just a mid-end feature-phone.
It’s said that the T707 will be released by Sony Ericsson in at least five color versions, sometime later this spring.

The phone’s specs include:

Last week, we’ve discovered that LG actually has a Viewty II phone that’s not the Renoir.
The handset is LG GC900, and now it has finally appeared in some photos so we can take a good look at it.
As you may already know, LG Viewty II has a 3 inch touchscreen display, like the first-generation Viewty. However, the new phone comes with a WVGA (800 x 480 pixels) resolution, while the original one only has 240 x 400 pixels.
The GC900 also features LG’s new S-class 3D UI, and a better (8 MP) camera. Other than that, its specs are similar to the ones the old Viewty has.

Details about the release of LG Viewty II GC900 are still missing, but the South Korean company will probably announce the phone this spring.

Like the style of the AT&T Quickfire but don’t like your phones catching on fire? Of course. We all feel the same way. That’s why we’re happy to report new rumors out today that Samsung will be putting the A877 on AT&T shelves as early as March 29.
Is this the mysterious Samsung “Jackfrost” that’s been touted for release this month? Could be.
Essentially the A877 is the Eternity with a full QWERTY keyboard and AMOLED touchscreen. From the images we like what we see, so we hope this isn’t just a simple rumor from someone with good Photoshop skills.
Without further delay, here’s some eye candy and specs.

The A877 reportedly will feature:
Nice specs. Nice pics. Certainly a nice rumor overall. March 29 isn’t too far away, so we won’t have to wait long to see if this rumor comes to fruition.
