LG Cookie, one of the world’s most affordable touchscreen handsets, was released today by Orange UK in a new, exclusive version.

The version is called LG Cookie KP501 (while the original  is KP500) and it comes in two colors, silver and pink, the latter being just perfect for Valentine’s Day.

Oranges offers the new handset for £99.99 on pay as you go, or for free, if you’re willing to pay £15 per month during a two-year contract.

Design-wise, the KP501 looks a bit different than its KP500 brother, due to the fact that its call and end call keys are a bit thinner. Otherwise, the phones are basically the same, so buyers will get features like a 240 x 400 pixels display, accelerometer, a 3.2MP camera and so on.

LG Cookie KP501 is available for purchase right away, either online or in Orange UK’s retail shops

  • When RIM first announced the BlackBerry Pearl Flip 8220, it only unveiled the existence of its GSM version, much to the frustration of those who use CDMA networks.

But worry not, because it looks like there is a CDMA Pearl Flip too. Apparently named BlackBerry Pearl Flip 8230, the smartphone is said to be released soon in Canada, via Telus.

And although there aren’t any official details for the moment, BlackBerrySync says that the CDMA Flip might come as early as February, in two colors: black and pink.

This being said, I won’t be surprised if Verizon and Sprint are planning to release this version of the Flip Pearl too. After all, why should T-Mobile be the only US carrier to offer RIM’s first clamshell smartphone?

Also, the slider offers “seamless integration with Vodafone’s Music services”.

W715’s full list of features ands specs include:

    • Quad band GSM/GPRS/EDGE connectivity (850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 MHz)

    • Auto rotate
    • Wi-Fi and DLNA certified
    • Walkman player
    • Shake control
    • Award-winning clear audio experience
    • Stereo Bluetooth
    • FM radio with RDS and TrackID
    • Microsoft Exchange
    • 3.2 MP camera with geotagging
    • 120MB of built-in memory
    • MicroSD card support, up to 4GB

  • The iPhone 3G is only available in two colors: white and black. Right? Wrong. Apparently, Apple also made a pink iPhone 3G with the obvious intent of giving it to the ladies. If not, then some mischievous iPhone 3G factory worker must have felt like playing with spray paints one day. Or someone is playing a sick and girly joke on us.

If you act quickly, you can still catch the sole pink iPhone 3G that’s been put up for bidding on eBay today. It’s available through eBay UK, with bids starting at £250.00 or about $363 USD. It’s been put up for bidding twice, and it seems to be unable to catch anyone’s attention. We doubt if that would still happen after this, though.

A few details about the sellers item is available below:

    PINK IPHONE 3G 8GB

You are bidding on what i think is the only pink Iphone on the market.

This is not a case or cover it is the actual body of the Iphone.

Iphone comes boxed with all accessories and has latest 2.2 firmware installed.

The phone is locked to O2 but could easily be unblocked if required.

This is the ultimate pink accessory for anyone, this phone is guaranteed to turn heads wherever you go and as far as i am aware is unavailable anywhere else.

This is perfect to give as a gift or just to treat yourself!

please note the sim card tray is black (as illustrated in picture)

Please be aware i will only send to UK bidders. please email first if you have zero feedback.

    Happy Bidding!

Now, where’s my neon green iPhone?
