Levono oPhone Pictured Again

Levono oPhone Pictured Again

We’re previously seen screenshots of the Lenovo oPhone, but now live pictures of the device (together with its user interface) have appeared online, and it’s no surprise to see that the actual user interface does look a lot like Apple’s iPhone. In case you’ve forgotten, the oPhone runs with OMS (Open Mobile System), which is a fork of Android. The oPhone will have a 5-megapixel camera with auto-focus and flash, Wi-Fi, microSD card expansion and support TD-SCDMA (China’s 3G).

  • Nokia Photo Browser Has Some Cool Features

Nokia has released the beta for its Nokia Photo Browser, which is currently available for the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic. It’s designed to allow users to easily browse and view images stored on their handsets and even has features like an intuitive touch user interface with 3D effects, magnifying glass and face browsing, which will allow users to focus on a particular face, and quickly browse to the other faces in the photo. The app will obviously work for the Nokia N97, and another version of the application should be released soon for Nokia’s non-touchscreen phones.

  • FriendMobilizer For Android

    FriendMobilizer For Android

Still hooked on Facebook despite the drastic (and stressful) user interface changes? Well, if you’re running a T-Mobile G1 and are still addicted to Facebook, you could always check out a new Facebook application for Android, which was launched by Macrospecs, called FriendMobilizer. The application allows users to access status control, notifications, photo access and others via the program. The app supposedly has a rather low memory footprint, and has photo uploads integrated into Android’s standard menu options. The application is currently available in the Android Market, and if you’re on Windows Mobile, there is also currently a free version for you.

  • LG Arena officially launched in Europe

LG’s latest and greatest KM900 Arena multimedia phone is now officially launched in Europe, although the South Korean company didn’t mention how much the device will cost.

We already know there are more than 1 million Arena phones pre-ordered, thus LG probably hopes the handset will be at least as successful as Viewty (the 5MP full-touch phone sold in more than 5 million units).

The KM900 Arena is not a smartphone, as it runs on LG’s 3D S-Class User Interface. However, it’s loaded with lots of cool features, including: a 480 x 800 pixels touchscreen display, a 5MP autofocus camera, A-GPS, Wi-Fi, Dolby Mobile, a 3.5mm headset jack, DivX and Xvid support, 8GB of internal memory and so on.

    lg-arena-europe

Starting this month (March), LG Arena will be on sale “in major European markets”, in two color versions: silver and black titanium.

Until you get the chance to see it in stores, you can check out our LG Arena video report from MWC 2009.
